Dear Friends,

We regret to announce that our event with Alexander McCall Smith on April 28 has been canceled.
 
Mr. Smith could not fly to this country because of the Icelandic volcano, and his publisher decided to cancel his entire U.S. tour.
 
We are awaiting word on when the event will be rescheduled and we hope to hear about that by the end of the week.  We will let you know as soon as we are told.
 
Again, please accept our apologies for this inconvenience.
